Applications of CPF™

CPF™ is a high pressure spraying process used to load liquids (low viscous or high viscous) onto a powder carrier. High liquid loads can be achieved (up to 90% , depending on carrier).

Examples for liquids:

Plant extracts, essential oils, flavours, fragrances, vegetable oils and fats, fat derivatives, vitamins, alcoholic liquids, aqueous liquids, emulsions, suspensions

Examples for carriers (more than 500 tested):

Starch, silicic acid, celluloses, sugars, emulsifiers

Controlled release properties of powders can be achieved, if ingredients and suitable additives are pressurized and homogeneously mixed before spraying.

PGSS™ is a high pressure spraying process used to generate

powders from pure substances, which are melted before spraying
open and closed composites (e.g. encapsulation of liquids in shell materials like waxes or fats)
powders from blends of immiscible melts
reactive blends in powder form
powder coatings
